Camembert Fondue

IMG_2735 (800x533)

My neighbor recently too a trip to the Swiss Alps and brought us back some spices used on fondue. We put in a new outdoor kitchen so as one of the appetizers I heated the fondue up on the grill to have with our meal. What’s not to love about gooey melted cheese? The flavoring really took it up a notch and I had a hard time not eating the whole thing myself.

There’s really no recipe to this it’s easy to do. I took a wheel of Ile de France Camembert cheese and sliced off a thin layer of rind from the top. Sprinkle on the seasoning then you heat until melted. This can be done in the oven as well.
