Holiday Muffins

This is a great mix if you are making batches of things for gifts. I mixed it all up and divided it among 4 containers then attached the instructions to make them.

We haven't gotten to bake these yet, but as soon as I do I'll post some pictures.

Holiday Muffins
(Adapted from the internet)

5 cups all-purpose or unbleached flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup instant nonfat dry milk
1/4 cup baking powder
2 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cloves

In a large bowl, combine all ingredients; blend well. Store in airtight container at room tempreature or in a cool, dry place. Makes 4 muffin mix gifts.

Instructions to include on package:

2/3 cup water
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 cup oil

Heat oven to 400 degrees F. In a medium bowl, place muffin mix (attached), water, egg and oil; stiruntil dry ingredients are just moistened. DO NOT OVER MIX. Fill prepared muffin cups approximately 1/2 full. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Immediately remove from pan and serve warm. Makes 12 muffins.
