Every time I post a bread recipe I tell you how much I love bread. Well, it's that time again....I LOVE BREAD! OK now that's out of my system, I wanted to try some recipes that got close to some breads out at restaurants that I like. It inspires me to see how close to the restaurant taste I can get. First up a bread similar to Outback Steakhouse. We don't eat there often, probably once a year, but non the less they have excellent bread. I looked online for some copy cat recipes and kind of mixed them all and made my own and came up with what I call a sweet wheat bread. Don't let the word sweet scare you off, it has a hint of sweet not an overwhelming dessert bread taste. Also, this bread taste best when served warm, so pop it in the oven to warm it up before dinner.
Sweet Wheat Bread
3 packets dry yeast
1 1/2 cups warm water, divided
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 cup dark molasses
1 tablespoon salt
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 cups whole wheat flour
3 cups all-purpose flour
Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water then stir in sugar. Let stand until bubbly.

You make it look so easy. Home made bread is something on my to try list.
