Eek it's Friday the 13th! I probably should have chosen a different recipe to post today, but I'll stick to a cocktail to drink away your worries. :)
I'm really trying hard to get a head start for easy Fall dinner party recipes and this is another interesting one that I really like, but needs to be tweaked a little. The corn syrup in there seems to be a little too much and I think I need to use a better vodka to make it a little smoother, but other wise it's really good. I aslo skipped toasting my pecans which really needs to be done as well.

2 teaspoons brown sugar
¼ cup pecans, toasted and finely chopped
Ice cubes

On a small plate, stir together 1 teaspoon corn syrup and the brown sugar.

Dip the rims of 4 martini glasses in the mixture, then in the chopped nuts.
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine 1/4 cup vodka, 1/4 cup corn syrup and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.
It sounds decadent! I love pecan pie. Nice.
