Goode's Company Pecan Pie

IMG_7788

If you live in Texas I’m sure you have heard of Goode Company. Their BBQ is really well known in Houston, and I really don’t care for eating BBQ out unless it’s from this place. Every year my husband orders their pecan pies to send to clients. Now they are super sweet and probably 1000 calories per bite, but it’s TO DIE FOR!!! Trust me you need to order one from their website you’ll be hooked!

I found a copy cat recipe online and I have to say that it’s really good. I don’t know if adding the vinegar is the secret or not, but the pie is really really good. I made them in mini tart pans for a dinner party since people are more likely to eat smaller things than be the first one to slice up a cake or pie. I used ready made pie crust and rolled it out a little thinner and was able to get 5 mini tarts from 1 pie crust.
