Creamy Cilantro Lime Dressing

IMG_2717 (800x533)

My neighbor was kind enough to bring over some home grown lettuce and 2 bundles of cilantro from her garden. I LOVE how you can’t get any fresher then just picked. I decided I would make a dressing out of the cilantro. I’m the first to admit I’m not a huge fan of the flavor of cilantro by itself. It certain recipes I have to say it’s really great. This is one recipe that has many different uses. We used it on a salad and hubby used it as a steak sauce. I think it would work well as a dip for tortilla chips too as well as a great sauce on chicken. Can’t wait to make this again for the summer time grilling dishes!
