Shanghai Round Steak Marinade

I love an easy stir fry recipe and this one has good flavor you just have to add the amount of heat you like to it. I mixed in some veggies and served it all over rice.

Shanghai Round Steak Marinade

(Adapted from Amazing Sauces)

1 lb flank or round steak

½ teaspoon brown sugar

2 teaspoons white wine

1 teaspoon salt

3 thin slivers fresh ginger

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 teaspoon soy sauce

 

Cut the steak into ⅛ inch thin strips across the grain.

Combine the sugar, wine, salt, ginger, cornstarch, and soy sauce and pour it over the steak, mixing well.

Cover and chill for an hour, then stir fry the marinated round steak with vegetables.
