Prosciutto Breadsticks

Prosciutto Breadsticks

As I mentioned last week here’s one of the other recipes that I served at the baby shower. I have to say these came out really good. The only thing I would recommend is maybe serving them with a dipping sauce like marinara.

Prosciutto Breadsticks

Yield: 1 dozen.

6 thin slices prosciutto, then cut in half lengthwise

1 can Pillsbury pizza dough

1 large egg, lightly beaten, optional

Parmesan Cheese

 

Preheat oven to 425°. Unroll dough; slice into 12 breadsticks.

 Top each with a strip of prosciutto, pressing gently to adhere.

Twist each breadstick; place on ungreased baking sheet, pressing ends down firmly. Brush with beaten egg if desired and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

Bake 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
