I have to say this was interesting, but not my favorite version of grilled watermelon after trying THIS recipe. The fish sauce was really strong and kind of threw me off a little.
Grilled Watermelon with Sriracha Soy Glaze
(Adapted from the kitchy kitchen)
8 one-inch thick slices of watermelon
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
INGREDIENTS (SPICY GLAZE)
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons fish sauce
1 tablespoon sriracha
4 tablespoons agave nectar
Mix together the glaze ingredients and set aside.
Heat a grill to high and brush the grates with oil (or spray with a high heat cooking spray). Immediately add the watermelon and cook until darkly marked (1-2 minutes).
Flip, and brush the watermelon with the spicy glaze.
