Candy Bar Drink

It's Friday so time for a cocktail! I'm not sure to list this under flops, but it's more like a dessert in a glass. I should have guessed being a Bennigan's recipe it wouldn't be a hit. No offense if you like that place, but I've had nothing but horrible food and service. Hubby gave it a thumbs down due to the texture. It's super sweet and not much alcohol in it so I'm trying to figure out what I can add to make it better. I think using the coconut as a rimmer and not in the drink would help and maybe add some rum or Kahlua to it. If you try it let me know what you changed.

Bennigan's Candy Bar Drink
(Adapted from CD Kitchen)

1 1/4 ounce Frangelico
2 ounces Hershey's chocolate syrup
2 ounces Coco Lopez
2 ounces coconut, finely shredded in blender
2 ounces ice milk

Combine all ingredients in blender. Serve in champagne or other small glasses.

  1. I love the idea of this drink, the chocolate and coconut. I am not a Beneningans fan either. Looks lovely anyhow:)
