Toasted Pumpkin Seed

I trust everyone had a wonderful Halloween. We carved pumpkins Saturday night and then hung out with the neighbors for Halloween. It seemed there where more kids out this year then years past, but I'm sure having the perfect weather helped! Sorry I didn't post this Monday, but my schedule got a little busy trying to scoop up some good deals after Halloween.

I really appreciate my friends, I know I don't say that enough but I really really do. My poor friend Angela gets stuck in my kitchen around this time of year for the past 3 years now right after we get done carving pumpkins. Toasted pumpkin seeds are easy to make and I've seen her do it a million times, but she makes them sooo much better. I didn't put amounts because it all depends on the amount of seeds the pumpkin yields.

Toasted Pumpkin Seeds

pumpkin seeds
butter
salt

Rinse pumpkin seeds and pat dry.

Melt enough butter in a skillet to coat pumpkin seeds. Add seeds to pan and stir to coat. Continue to cook until seeds are toasted and softened. Sprinkle with salt and serve. (Additional spices can be used if desired.)
