Chocolate Donuts

IMG_2552

What kids don’t love donuts and chocolate ones at that? Last weekend I made wanted to try out a new donut recipe since I found some donut pans I had been wanting. The recipe made a bunch of donuts so I made a special deliver to all the neighbors that morning with donuts in hand. I think my neighbors love when a recipe makes too much because that means they get a taste. I love sharing! I really liked how simple these where to make. You could even make them in muffin pans if you don’t have a donut pan or even a sheet pan and make little square donuts. They aren’t overly sweet and come out really nice and fluffy. For the glaze I just melted down some chocolate chips then dipped the tops of the cakes in the chocolate and added sprinkles.

  1. Okay, I really like the idea of baking donuts. I've never made them before, because I didn't want to add any more fried items to the already big list.

    They look good!
