I recently got a membership to Restaurant Depot and I LOVE this place. It blows Sam’s Club and Costco out of the water on bulk items. Last time I was there I got a nice package of lamb racks already Frenched for $2.33 a pound which is a pretty good deal. I decided to cut them in double chops to keep from overcooking them on the grill. I also went with a simple marinade, which really you couldn’t taste much of after we grilled them, so next time I’ll go back to one of my better marinades.
Kentucky Sweet Bourbon Marinade
(Adapted from Troy Black)
6 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoons bourbon
3 tablespoons maple syrup
2 tablespoons honey-Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
Combine all ingredients in a plastic zip-lock bag and mix well. Marinate lamb for 1 to 2 hours.
Okay, I want one of those here....
ReplyDeleteMeans, we'll get one when I'm 80 or 90.
